nothin wrong with silent gamers, it means you can hear less childrena

It also means that the chance of you coordinating a team attack drops to zero, which is kind of important in most competitive online games.

I'll mute the children as they annoy me. The other option is far worse when playing on a large server.

What large servers?  Majority of XBL online games are P2P hosting and have small player counts.

Which makes the lack of voice chat on PSN an even more egregrious error on Sony's part.

Some nice spin you got there, not matter what MS does it right and no matter what Sony does it wrong.

Yes, because I'm the epitome of positive when it comes to Microsoft and the RROD, continuing to charge for XBL when Sony keeps gaining ground feature-wise, and the handful of other fuck-ups they've commited this generation.

It's not entirely unfathomable that I merely point out mistakes made by each company when I see them... All three consoles have made serious mistakes this generation, IMO. Nintendo has merely made the least.

Obviously you don't remember me writing several nasty things about Microsoft in my editorials a few years back... I have no love for any of the console manufacturers yet people still peg me as a fanboy just because I said something negative about one of them. Just say the word "Natal" around me and watch what I say about it...
