I'll mute the children as they annoy me. The other option is far worse when playing on a large server.

 

What large servers?  Majority of XBL online games are P2P hosting and have small player counts.

Which makes the lack of voice chat on PSN an even more egregrious error on Sony's part.

News to me. I think you're meaning cross game chat. In game voice chat's been around for a while I believe.

I should have said "lack of people USING voice chat". If every PS3 included a mic from launch, we wouldn't be having this discussion.

Just another thing that still haunts the PS3 from launch when Sony bit off way more than they could chew...
