Hmmm, well this helps too.  From what I've seen, you have similarish taste to me.

Though I disagree with the monkey island comparison.  You are not even able to have an inventory in Heavy Rain.  Much less decide if and where to use items.  Are you even able to roam anywhere freely in Heavy Rain?  I mean in the demo, in the hotel, once you walk up the stairs, if you immediately turn around to walk back down, the game doesn't let you.
