Production takes time, and they have to be careful that they don't overstock the chain. Running low is a GOOD thing. It means they sold more in those regions than they anticipated at holiday. people who want a PS3 and can't find one are still going to get one next week or the following week or whatever. I wouldn't worry too much about it.
Better than the alternative of having stock piled 50 high in every shop.
Can't we all just get along and play our games in peace?
