The problem isn't Nintendo.
It's not their fault that they built their name up to be reliable and people willingly hand over the money for their games knowing they are getting a quality game.
Meanwhile, 3rd parties flip flop a lot on quality and people just aren't as willing to part with their money, especially new franchise.
Blizzard is another developer that I totally trust and absolutely no review can stop me from buying their games.
