Squall is the only character here in which you see both of his biological parents (Laguna Loire and Raine). Zidane was genetically 'constructed', so that he could defeat his older brother, Kuja, should he become too powerful. Cloud was born from Jenova cells,. You never even hear of Locke's parents throughout the entire game.
