James Stevenson, community boss over at Insomniac Games, has tweeted that he feels the PlayStation 3 version of eagerly anticipated RPG Final Fantasy XIII is superior to its Xbox 360 counterpart.

Stevenson made the comment while heaping praise on Sony’s Q1 2010 line-up, where he wrote: “PS3 is having a rockin’ 1st q: MAG, Heavy Rain, White Knight Chronicles, and soon MLB10:The Show, GOWIII and the superior version of FFXIII“

Still, he also tipped his hat to the folks at Microsoft, adding: “Fair enough, the 360 also got Mass Effect 2, now one of my all-time favorites from this gen. Plenty of good gaming. Except on Wii.”

Final Fantasy XIII assaults store shelves on March 9.

"In video game terms, RPGs are games that involve a form of separate battles taking place with a specialized battle system and the use of a system that increases your power through a form of points.

Sure, what you say is the definition, but the connotation of RPGs is what they are in video games." - dtewi
