Getting a PS3 soon!

It wasnt too hard to decide between PS3 and 360. 360 shares a lot of exclusives with PC, i dont wanna pay for online, the PS3 does blu-ray, PS3 has GT5 coming out eventually which im really keen for. so...

Is the HDMI cable worth getting if i dont have a HD tv?

My favourite games on PC are bioshock, the half-lifes, tf2, left 4 dead. Apart from Fifa 10 i havent decided on what games to get yet, so recommend me :D

You need a HD TV to experience the best out of a PS3, nag whoever has the money for as HD TV, you can get a relatively cheap one now (if it's small).

If you cannot afford a HD tv, and I hate to say this as PS3 is the better deal, get a x360, although you will still need a tv with component connections, so either way it is going to cost you if you only own a standard LCD tv.

The best games on PS3 are Oblivion, Killzone 2, Uncharted 1&2, MGS 4, LBP, Modnation racers (i liked the beta loads:P:P), Demon Souls, GOW III, Valkyria Chronicles, and GOW III.

Edit: oh yeah if you like Zelda, make sure you try out Darksiders, it is basically an adult version of Zelda (it's multiplatform with x360 don't worry)
