Is Iwata responsible for the drastic change of philosophy at Nintendo?

I would actually say that Iwata is better than Miyamoto. Yeah, Miyamoto is a great at creating games, but being an experienced and intelligent game developer in the CEO position with a knowledge of business, Iwata can take Nintendo much further than Miyamoto could.

He's insanely rich, yeah. He's got over 4 billion dollars, crazy! I wonder, when he dies, if he'll leave Nintendo any money. I'm guessing he will, since he has such an incredibly strong bond with the company, and after refusing his retirement funds of up to 14 million dollars, feeling Nintendo could put the money to better use. Who knows, he might leave his entire fortune to Nintendo, that would put Nintendo in an unfathomably comfortable position.
