Alright, that's it.
While I don't really condone NFG's response (it was against forum rules, no question about that), there's been a lot of douchey responses to the whole situation. I consider OkeyDokey and Nintendo Fan Girl to both be really good friends, so I hate to see this conflict. And yeah, it's easy to be a guy in his 20s or so (like many of us are) and laugh at a joke like that and not take it too seriously. It's not nearly as easy to put yourself in the mind of a girl that age, to understand why something like that would hurt her feelings. We were all teenagers once (some of the people posting still are). We knew what it was like to be insecure, to feel like others didn't like us, to feel like we didn't look good enough and we just weren't loved. No matter how cool you were, you felt that at some point or another.
Nintendo Fan Girl is a girl at that vulnerable age, and she's a person with feelings. If you can't at least begin to understand that, then you have quite the bad memory (I was going to say "you're a jackass", but I didn't want to get modded; Oh God, I hope I don't get modded!).
