This is almost always the case you continue to say and believe something that is untrue, or becomes untrue. He's having a difficult time reconciling reality with his business plan and how he believed things were going to happen. Before the PS3 was released, it was a slam dunk from a business perspective. Now that it's clear SquareEnix made a mistake supporting the PS3 instead of the Wii, they're having a difficult time rationalizing it.
To those getting riled up about the Wii being called a toy: be realistic. All video game systems are toys. The PS3 is a toy. The Xbox 360 is a toy. They're all devices you play with to entertain you.
