I know there was some mass misinformation spread by fans regarding Oblivion on the PS3, an open world game. It used data duplication as it makes sense for limiting reading lens movements. Sadly the developers clarification that they used the same technique on the XBox 360 DVD got less coverage. When you have so much space available on a Blu-Ray disc, why not utilize it to the consumer's advantage like that?
