yanamaster said: The moment people start bitching about being "forced" to switch discs of any game is the sign that those people need a good whack on the head. We've reached a certain level of absurdity in behavioral patterns among gamers, especially the younger ones. How can you even try to convince anyone with a straight face that a game where you have one disc is better against the same game that's on multiple discs? 2 Just because you've become a sad lazy bum and you feel that you can't be bothered? How is this even serious? @ OP Yeah it's 2010, your point? we've had games on multiple cd's , we've had games on multiple dvds and you can be sure as hell that we're going to see games on multiple blu ray discs when all has been said and done, so don't go preaching about some misunderstood meaning of convenience. Especially when the amount of time the people might decide to spend installing ff 13 on the ps3 will end up being greater than switching dvds on the xbox. |
Did you play star ocean the last hope? Im not lazy but switching the disc each 5 minutes during 2 hours was pretty lame and annoying (I was doing the quest where you have to boost the level of the bunny to win the races and items). I play game to relax because I have a stressing job. Once that said, I have no problem switching a disc 2 or 3 even 4-5 times in a whole playthrough, if its what you meant. This gen I definitly see a problem with RPGs being multi-disc, the in-game asset takes more and more room as oppose to CGi. Hell Star ocean or lost odyssey wasnt even long RPGs to begin with...
