Yeah, you are right.... it could be zero, 5k, 10k... what would you or anyone else here estimate it to be?

not to worry though all those PS3 fans will still be buying PS3's at some point so the sales will rocket soon. 

point is... shortages does not equal unavailable... if you want one, you can get one.

Can't figure out for the life of me, if there are shortages, how many people are now waiting for a purchase. I for example, when I bought a Wii, had to wait three weeks after ordering it... Would be nice to know from stores how long they predict the average wait to be. Would be a clearer indicator imho.
