The PS3 has outsold the Wii

The PS3 total sales have recently surpassed the Wii in Americas sales... I made a thread back in 2008 when the last change took place... that was Wii Americas sales overtaking the PS3 overall sales: http://www.vgchartz.com/forum/thread.php?id=52564

Now the PS3 has brought it back to parity and in the past 2 weeks has taken the lead again.

PS3 overall stands at:

168,586 (-2%)

31,821,914

Compared to the Wii in Americas:

151,331 (-11%)

31,804,909

The Wii has been ahead for quite a while as can be seen in this graph:

but the PS3 slim has given the PS3 enough momentum to catch up.
