I think that they will be discontinuing the 120. Making 250 standard and introducing a 500GB PS3.

I just think 120 gb is sold at a lost, so they don't care if it's available or not. The 250bg makes a profit and that's the sku they want to reallly sell.

This seems like the most reasonable, make it so people can only buy the profitable system instead of the non-profitable. All this while at the same time saving the 120 GB model's for the GoW and FF13 launches because we know those are going to be big and Sony won't want to miss out on potential customers.
