If you really want to be technical, the first AVP game was for the Game Boy. As I said earlier, the PC versions of AVP and AVP2 are the only AVP games which don't have ha;f-assed, shoehorned, mechanics that make no sense whatsoever (seriously... PUNCH AN ALIEN IN THE FACE, just how retarded is that?) and ruin the game completely. |
If you really want to be technical, the first AVP game was for the Super Nintendo, not the Game Boy. Secondly, I was talking specifically about the exact same PC series you are. The first person shooter, survival horroresque, Rebellion developed series? Yeah that all started on the Jaguar, not the PC. Everything the PC games were built from comes from the ideas in that first game in '94. Just for the sake of argument though, what "half-assed, shoehorned mechanics that make no sense whatsoever and ruin the game completely" were in the original Jaguar game?
