why do you think the ps3 is having shortages?

so yeah, as we all know *even the sales show this* there are shortages of the ps3 everywhere, i know of only one way to get it now, and thats on amazon, its sold out everywhere else *except the 250gb sku which is 350$ =/*....why do you think this is?
