Do you get gaming hangovers?

I got a gaming hangover playing the Gears of War 2 campaign. It was so long that I had to come back after my hangover was done and play it for several more hours. And it was only like...15 hours long. Shooter campaigns SHOULD be short, especially if they're not telling a good story.
