you'll probably have to check your local laws as to whether mod chips are legal or not. Although I suppose the game would be English only. If that's a problem then I suppose you can't take that option. I wish I had have just imported a Wii from USA... | I kinda lol'd on this one. Can speak English doesn't necessarily mean you would prefer your games en English. I can speak passable Spanish and may even be able to survive on a spanish message board but I would certainly not want my games in Spanish.
Bummer on the modding being illegal though. I figured it would be since it's legal here and Europe is generally more pro-consumer than Australia. Especially since we're supposedly introducing a DMCA style law here as well, I wonder how that will clash with the mod-chip allowing laws.
