Hmm Ps3 cant be supply constrained unless its overshipped in some areas.
33.5m shipped until 31.12.2009 should be plenty, if Sony has not shipped consoles the past 2 months then there can be shortages if Europe has loads of PS3s.
This whole thing just dont add up imo. I dont understand why Sony has problems to ship enough consoles to US ? Where are the consoles going ? The consoles which they shipped until 31.03.2009 wont be sold before April with that pace.
Ok lets assume they underestimated the demand for US and they shipped enough consoles to Europe/Japan. They are seeing the problem and cant react within 8 weeks ? How often does Sony shipments ? Once every quarter ? If sony ships more frequently and they see that Europe has enough consoles cant they just send the consoles for Europe to US ?
