no it got cut because it couldnt fit on the 360 and square themselves said it was "running on the ps3 version but was removed to retain a balance in the games". especially if things like: towns, that map thing (forgot what it was), longer content, is in versus then it's a definite it was dvd/360 fault it was removed in ff13

He's probably referring to the news about there being enough deleted content to make a whole new game.
It's not really an issue though, from what I know, the game is over 60 hours long (not counting side-quests), and while Cocoon is the linear area, Pulse is open-world. I just wish people would enjoy the game for what it is rather than worry themselves over "what if" situations.
