Uhh, it's dark because it jives with what they're going for here with the enemies being completely dark. Obviously if the entire game took place during the day, it would be rather boring and wouldn't be a "psychological action thriller." It's pretty clear that they're going to put you in some pretty dire situations from the footage I've seen, and I don't think it's fair to insinuate any hiding of graphics when part of the game does in fact take place during the day. So yeah, why exactly shouldn't most of this game take place in the dark, if you are supposed to use light as your weapon to combat the enemies?
