A got an impression from someone else on a other forum (if it helps):
I got this game yesterday and finished the prologue last night. I am playing on the Normal level.
Do NOT expect next gen graphics with this one. If you are a graphics Wh*re you are not going to like this. Textures are not all that great however some character models look pretty good. Overall I would compare the graphics on this to a PS2 game with some highlights in between.
I bought this game full well knowing that graphics would not be a strong point, its all about the story and gameplay right?
Well, so far this game is sort of a cross between the first resident evil and silent hill games with some twin peaks mixed in. Playing this game last night I had many "what the heck is going on?" moments, its flat out bizarre at times. Voice acting is not bad, reminds me of a B flick. Controls seem to be ok, at least I have not had a hard time with them yet.
Story seems good enough to keep me interested.
I'd say for $20 its a good deal thus far, just go in expecting a budget title and you are more likley to enjoy it. Now if I can only figure out how to change the blood from green to red... the setting is not working for me.
