This is starting to annoy me. Numerous people asked you this, but you never respond. So once again:
What makes you think the Wii will stop selling after 2-3 years, whereas the NES, SNES, PS1 and PS2 all sold millions after their successors were released?

Dammit! I'm just gonna have to admit after looking at the Wii's sales, the Will will surpass the PS2. I knew PS2 would be surpassed but I didn't think that it would take on gen for that to happen. Damn.....sighs..................this thread is a EPIC FAIL! I hate this.

I have already stated that I do think the PS2 will be beat LTD by the Wii. But, again, no one knows whats going to happen. No one in there right mind saw the Wii comeing. It was like lightning out of a clear sky. Learn from history. If you really don't want your beloved PS2 to be outsold by the Wii then i sugest you never give up hope. Cause all the BS on this thread don't mean shit at the end of the day because no one knows for sure.

A fella by the name of Sean Malstrom had foresight to predict the Wii's phenomenal success. The majority of the Industry folks and analysts did not. I mean we had that Gamespot April Fools Joke LoL.
I'd imagine people would want the Wii to sell more than the PS2 it would every gen the market leader sold more than the last which points to growth..Though there are other things that point to decline even in the face of seeming growth. It is really growth if all you are doing is selling your prodcut in more countries? I don't know. But that's a topic for a different thread.

Yea ok ONE person did see it coming. That was an EPIC prediction too.
As for systems selling more every gen and growth and all yea i agree. But the fanboy in me wants to see the Wii outsell the PS2 and then the Wii2 outsell the Wii and so on lol.
Sony and MS have there place in my book. And thats pressing Nintendo to get better and better, and not get lazy. They wanted to play it safe and got a little lazy with the N64 and they paid the price. Anyways horribly OT but there it is.
