How would streaming Netflix work?

Actually, the very cheapest ($4.99/month) option is limitted to how much you can stream and I don't recommend that, but all the $8.99/month and more plans are unlimitted streaming (one at a time).  So, yes you can always start wating right away, and for TV series and stuff, there is often a "next episode" button right there at the end.
