^^ as one poster previously said, consoles are where the big game are meant to be in the eyes of devs (especially western) so that's why poratble games don't really factor into the equation

to them it's just making a console game with a portable version of it. i can't say i relate to this part though, it's probably the publisher's idea of reaching all possible markets (consoles + handhelds)

it's like when making a movie that you may have wrote and it means something to you as it is your brainchild, would you like to give (a) good special effects or (b) bad special effects, im not saying that's what matters the most, i'm just saying what would a person choose...

then if they were to make other adaptations of the movie it wouldn't matter because you've already realized you vision, like making a cartoon out of it or something... this would be the equivalent to making a portable version of a game or something

this is just my opnion as to what might be one of the possible reasons for devs not putting their efforts into more Wii games, there are many other reasons too, money could have a 'slight' influence on the matter :p

but i remember how infinity ward made comments about how they didn't want to make a Wii game of modern warfare, so another team made it instead while IW continued to do make what they wanted. what if more game developers are like that?
