Exactly how I feel. I would still take Civ II over III and IV any day.

At least this time the graphics look fine. I've hardly met another game series where the graphics take a step backwards. Civ IV looked horrible and way inferior to Civ III IMO.

Man, the new features in 3 and 4 are great to me. In particular 4 is the best in the series, the inclusion of religious elements and better tech tree are simply more interesting.

Can't wait to see the innovations in 5.

This is one series where the newer version has always been a big improvement over the last to me.
