^I don't know why I'm still on the fence with HR...see, I just know I will enjoy the game, but I'm not very sure the story will satisfy me so much to guarantee further enjoyment with the game.

I've always loved games from Tim Schaffer and Ron Gilbert (Maniac Mansion, Monkey Island, Grim Fandango, Indiana Jones series, etc) , to me those are experiences that shouldn't be missed. But I've never quite considered them games that MUST BE bought, if you take my meaning. To me those games are like watching certain great movies, but they don't find a place in my personal collection. Once I play through them I find little use left in them. They aren't exactly books or movies in which I can just jump to the parts that I loved very much and can experience again.

Heavy Rain seems to be quite rewarding with all the possibilites and changing scenarios, hopefully it will have a chapter select kind of thing? Even though once you know the story and what happens (or must happen) most of the appeal is gone, I'd really like to know if there's action stuff so amazing I'd like to go through again.

Edit.:  One crucial thing I just thought of these interactive games, is that none of them really pose any challenge to the player. I'm all about challenge. I'd really like to know if HR is any different, and it's challenging (in its own kind of way).
