Why would you hope that the Cop would appear and proclaim your innocence? I'm not saying it was scummy, it just seems to contradict the general feeling that a cop should never proclaim someone innocent, because it gives the mafia an easy kill (since the Dr should still protect the cop).

How is it I "probably knew it wouldn't happen?" As the most vocal person, it should have happened night 1 or night 2 (no "probably" about it). What made you decide to add that phrase in there?
Also my opinion about when the Cop should state the investigation results changed this game based on things others have said. My opinions aren't permanent. Someone made a really good case about the Cop not revealing results all the time and I thought about it and agreed. Until this game, it's been generally accepted that the Cop will reveal their investigated person every day.
