because the line in front of the ladies is just not manageable.

Initially, I entered this thread with a "Sure, why not?" mind of thought. Then this reminded me. Sorry, I think I want to keep them seperated still. I like being able to go in, piss, and leave, not having to wait in a line for 5-10 minutes just to get in. (And the few places I've been to where guys have a 5-10 minute wait have a downright scary women's line!)

But, the main reasons for seperation really aren't valid. People are afraid of sex in the bathrooms, well, that already happens. (I remember in college, in the freshmen dorms, I was taking a shower when 2 people started making out.) People are afraid of someone else looking at them. Well, guess what- it goes both ways, and some people (especially guys) still worry about people of the same gender checking them out! (I have enough etiquitte to not look at another guy while they're using a urinal.) But meh, maybe it means that the guys bathrooms could actually get functioning stalls? I've seen in a few schools (a high school and an elementary school) mens stalls with no door, and walls so short that an adult standing up can easily see over them. It's not a case of them being broken, either- they were made that way! (And if they're afraid of sex, well, really, everyone knows that's what the handicapped stall is for...)
