This is not the same situation. They cut the content due it not fitting in with the game. They didn't do it due to space limitations. Did you know that FFX and X-2 were going to be one game at one time? That was an entire game as well. But they felt it was unnecessary at the time. They also stated that they are giving us the complete package for our money and are not going to DLC us.

This situation would be different if SE cut content due to the Xbox not having enough space and saying that us PS3 owners could pay for it by DLC if we wanted it.

Well, this is waht Square-Enix said. Capcom has the balls! Perhaps, Square-Enix not anymore.
