Capcom laments DVD capacity - Lost Planet 2 compromised

I don't get why people are so skeptical that the game is bigger than a DVD. Mass Effect 2, Forza 3 and Halo: ODST are on multiple discs, why is it so hard to believe that Lost Planet 2 is bigger than a single DVD?

That said, I have no doubt that this is just an excuse for paid DLC. Expect it very shortly after release too.
