As starcraft said, it's relatively inexpensive to spread a game over 2 DVDs so, regardless of whether Capcom were too cheap to use a second or too greedy not to go down the 'pay us $60 for the disc now... and $10 again down the' road (or both!), they've still compromised the game's experience off-the-shelf and that angers me as I got quite hyped for purchasing after trying out the demo.

This had nothing to do with taking a dig at Microsoft or the DVD format, yet predictably you tried to spin it as such. Urgh.

Bullshit lets get real here Seece. The DVD limitations are holding games back and if it wasn't for Microsoft and there crappy hardware decisions people would be enjoying this content for free. Remember the time you accused me of not buying the GTA4 DLC because it was on the Xbox 360 first. Well yeah you pissed me off so much with your fanboy accusations then that I forgot the following. How the fuck was I taking a stand against the DLC for being on the Microsoft platform first when I've bought many games that ported over to the PS3 on later dates and bought all 5 Fallout 3 DLCs date of release on PS3.

Shut up, I already know it's partly fault of Microsoft for not having a a big enough disc space, but Capcom can make the call whether to make this DLC free or not.
