I may be wrong but hasn't wii's Americas sales been greater than PS3's global sale for same time and the PS3 has actually, in a sense, caught up?
I mean, PS3 sold 171k (ww) and wii sold 170k (Americas) for the week ending 6 Feb. Not the greatest example actually, anyone know what previous weeks were like?
btw i'm not trying to aggravate or mitigate any argument above ... just a though
