PS3 tech demo, has the PS3 shown that it can do this?!!

you know, now that I'm more caught up with how heavy rain really plays, it really makes me think a lot about that game.... that blade runner PC game, and how it was made too early, and should have been something like this instead. setting totally fits, fuck how I wish this was that blade runner game. I already know I'll enjoy heavy rain at this point. I have no comments on the surpass part though, I was never hyped about the graphics so I bear no real thoughts on it, but if it's based on that video CGI posted, yeah, I'd think so.
