That's not completely true. The Gameboy only outsold the PS1 by like 16 million. And the Gameboy was released about 5 years
before PS1. Also the Wii is trending above the DS. How are you going to explain that?

People buy wiis than sell them only to buy them again?

This is actually true...hanhelds sell more than home consoles...anyway, PlayStation consoles were successful in sales because there was..well..there is high piracy on those systems. PSP has poor third-party support and it's still selling pretty good, even if the DS is beating it with really amazing sales, games and great third-party support.

I won't be surprised if DS outsells the PS2...since the DS is a hand held. Not much people should get excited if this happens.

But don't worry. I could bet Wii will outsell the PS2 soon, very soon.
