What was going through your mind when you lost your virginity?

I always take losing your virginity as a heterosexual by way of penetration, not counting oral. I believe that losing your virginity takes intimacy and that is not achieved by oral sex. At least, the feelings I have during penetration are much more vibrant then a simple blow job...
