The ps3 has been showing a better attach rate in numerous genres for quite awhile now. Just look at our Others figures. Virtually every game has been selling better on ps3 in the region for a year now (even Call of Duty!), despite the 360 still having the larger install base (by nearly a million, given recent adjustments).

In particular, the ps3 performs better with fighters, linear hack n' slash games (Devil May Cry, Dante's Inferno, and even Bayonetta), and JRPGs, with the games not only having a better attach rate on ps3, but selling better on ps3 overall.

What you'll see is we'll have a new packaging template that is going to call out the additional features you get on PS3 that you can't get on the 360, that exclusive content [like Dante's]," he noted. "That's something that's ready-made, spoon-fed for the retailer, and they put it up there and the consumer sees that and it jumps right off the shelf. So you'll see a lot more of that – it's something we're very focused on. You'll see announcements on it from us at DPS (Destination PlayStation) as well as E3; it's something our publishing partners are extremely excited about – again, because they saw the results that came from the Madden or Batman campaigns.”

This is an interesting point. I'm not sure if it means they're getting more publishers on board to add exclusive content to the ps3 versions of multiplat games, or if they're simply readying better marketing for when ps3 games do have exclusive content, but it sounds like they've got the right idea if they want games to consistently sell better on ps3.

I'm also interested in the mention of Destination PlayStation. There have been rumors that SCE is holding a conference around Spring, much like X10 and Nintendo's Media Summit, and this looks to be the first confirmation of such an event. I hope we'll see Killzone 3 revealed at such an event, assuming the rumors of a pending announcement are true.
