Leaked Sonic the Hedgehog 4 footage!

Having just played through the entirety of Sonic 3 & Knuckles, I have to say... WTF was that? Sonic's movements, everything from running to jumping, look completely alien. The level design also looks bizarre, it just doesn't feel right at all.

Maybe it's just because it's 3-d, but I'm not feeling Sonic 4, and that video has confirmed a feeling that the Sonic cycle will repeat itself.


But yeah, level design feels cramped (is it me or are the loops really tiny?), Sonic jumps goofy, it's glitchy within the first minute of gameplay, and it infuriates me that they use classic Sonic sprites for the loading screen, only for us to play as his bastardized 3-d re-envisionment. Sonic deserves the Mega Man 9 treatment, not the New Super Mario Bros. treatment.
