When Microsoft can capture more than Shooter and Sports audiences, they can a win a generation. I think Sony will do something amazing next gen and win it, they had such a hard time since the beginning of this one, I get a feeling they are going to try a unique strategy. Microsoft will need to win over more non-American Territories and do better in Europe to win a generation. I don't think Japan is a big factor anymore since it seems they are more handheld oriented these days.

Sales of games like Fable II, Mass Effect 2, and Forza 3 show that they already have more than shooter and sports audiences.
