Are you mistaking Western Digital for Seagate or something? WD's Caviar Blue and Black lines are pretty much the gold standard of reliable boot HDDs these days. The only less-than-stellar product they make is the Caviar Green line, and, well, those are slow drives meant for bulk storage.
