My friend just grabbed a 42 inch *LED* LCD TV for like $900. I can only imagine how cheap people can find LCD's now. Hell, my 32 inch Plasma was under $400 when I bought it years ago.
People should upgrade unless they are that much concerned about their old systems looking decent on a LCD screen (cause they won't, my PS2 doesn't look very hot on my Plasma.)
It's just that simple.
