No, that just means you love them. Maybe they even love you back but if they truly cared they would have more respect for you and themselves. One day that person will regret their mistake if they ever gain any wisdom.

Yeah, but what I meant is that I liked or loved a girl and at times when I think back, there are times when I shouldve had more self esteem and just forget her but I decided I would go on no matter what, that cost me some times that I invited her somewhere and she would say yes, me being happy for a day, and she calling me and saying: you know what, I had other plans, sorry I cant go.

Then I would just feel bad and say to my self that quote from the song you have there even though at the time I hadnt listened to the song, it was like "I suffer for her, that means I care, she should care too", I wasnt really what I wouldve tell anyone but deep inside I know I felt that way.. I had hope and kept going even if I fell like a cockroach since I just wanted to be with her.
