My Fanboy Speech...

Why do you have to make excuses to defend a product that you purchased, but that's the only connection you have to it, you don't make it, you don't lose or gain money on it. I don't see where all of the defensiveness comes in, there is no reason for you or anybody else to feel obligated to defend it. Now I would understand if one of you were a developer for the product and you slaved over said product only to hear somebody call it stupid or a piece of junk. But none of you developed it, none of you are mature enough to realize that. Choosing a product all comes down to preference, you chose said product because it is best for you. Simple as that!

---fanboyism is pretty retarded as is defending anything without an argument which creates the term fanboy because most of them defend their console with no argument to back it up other than ZOMG! this game is awesome! i get to shoot stuff! or "the 360 version is better cause its for 360"...ill list everything that is wrong with all 3 consoles and fanboys on this site feel free to throw flames at me with all of your premature ejaculatory rage

1) microsoft xbox 360- RROD(three red rings) is the most well known and the only thing covered in the extended warranty and was the first huge problem. ---1 red ring, 2 red rings and 4 red rings also mean that your box is broken and not covered...then comes the hassle of paying to ship it and waiting for a few weeks with no xbox only to receive a refurbished xbox that breaks too(not all were refurbished some were new but people did have to deal with it). ---no extended warranty coverage for the disc scratching problem and the disc replacement cost was usually around 20-25 dollars. ---original xbox online support is gone now. ---xbox live costs $50 and microsoft tells you that its used to keep servers running...thats bs because if they can take a 1.5 billion dollar hit on the extended warranties then they clearly do not have to charge for online play. ---no wireless card in the console and it costs $80 for the old one and $100 for the new one which is a huge ripoff. ---d-pad on the controller is complete crap and makes some fighting type games unplayable on 360.---360 arcade model is useless to buy because you can't store any data with no hard drive and it also making using xbox live almost useless ---too many sku's

2)ps3- price was wayyyy too high for so many years $300 is acceptable now. ---ps3 home is something they pushed for years and only the beta has been released ---ps3 keeps getting crappy ports of 360 games with sub-par graphics and lower frame rates. ---FFS it can't keep a single game exclusive anymore i wonder if FF versus 13 will have the same fate as its predecessor(its sony's fault along with MS too for throwing money around lol). --- online is free but not quite up to par with xbox live yet but free makes it even out a bit. --- if you cannot get online to update the firmware then you cannot update and watch some of the new blu ray movies and your controller may experience sync problems. ---sixaxis turned out to be a gimmick that wasn't needed. ---early controllers didn't have rumble ability --- too many sku's ---sony was so about HD gaming and didn't include component or HDMI cables with the console. ---most games native resolution is 720 or 1080p so playing them on a standard def tv makes text in some games very hard to read ---thinking that their ps2 brand loyalty would drive gamers to pay an obscene price for early ps3's and is the reason they're still trying to catch up in the console war. --- for such an expensive machine with blu ray and crazy processing power and graphical potential the games don't look that much better than 360 and some look worse.

3)wii - no hd graphics ---only as powerful as the original xbox---motion controls if done wrong are a hassle and it ruins games. ---3rd party games are mostly terrible. ---online play is laggy and unresponsive although it is free so you get what you pay for. ---5 years in and there are still hundreds of virtual console games that aren't available. ---doesn't appeal to the hardcore crowd which doesn't matter for sales but they should support the people that made nintendo what it is today. ---did i mention online play sucks? yes i did. ---no dvd playback(cmon it would have been so simple). ---you need the $20 classic controller and $25 gamecube controller to have a decent control scheme with some games. ---plastic wii attachments that aren't in the form of a light gun. ---lack of big name games if they're not made by nintendo. ---online wii demos? dlc? not so much...
