Not in real world performance for games/apps. It should outclass basically everything "last gen" (including Wii & PSP) but it doesn't since the OS is a resource hog and arbitrary SDK caps iirc.
This looks like it uses "cheats" that probably wouldn't get by on Wii/PSP though (ie: flat bitmapped backgrounds).
