-I played through RE1 and REMake more times than I can remember.
-I played through RE2 several times as Leon and Claire (and Tofu and Hunk), too.
-I played through RE2 once.
-I played through Code Veronica once.
-I played through RE Zero twice.
-I played through RE4 on Gamecube probaby 4-5 times and then I played through it again on the Wii probably 4-5 MORE times.
-I played through RE 5 on the 360 at least six times (and I still intend to go through it on its hardest mode and again to find all of the treasures).
Some people may argue that the game isn't "Resident Evil" anymore but really, the classic Resident Evil formula was dying. It was time for a change. I agree that Capcom needs to work on the pacing of the game, and add some more shocking moments. Still, as a video game, the series has improved with its last two entries.
