Gamers who have a SDTV and get a HD-console know that they aren't getting the maximum out and as time passes the differences will only get bigger. You can hardly blame developers for going with the times. As for that article, among the average households the percentage of SDTVs is low as it also counts older households who never owned a console. Among games the percentage is obviously higher. |
Just because a family has an HDTV doesn't mean that they will let their kids play videogames on it.
