Is PC gaming dying? Absolutely not.
If anything, it's bigger than ever.
Sure, the FPS fanatics may opt for a PS3/360 over a PC these days, but that's hardly an indicator of the PC overall.
And many people may remember a lot of big games on PC's back in "the day." But you have to remember that PC's weren't really a common household appliance until the mid to late 90's, well into the modern console era. As the PC entered the mainstream, PC gaming thrived alongside consoles, and it continues to do well today. Strategy and MMO's hold their ground on PC, drawing millions of people. WoW and The Sims are some of the best selling games of all time. FPS, and perhaps other genres, may have shifted to consoles, but gaming overall is alive and well on PC.
As for me, I find myself gaming mainly on PC these days, as it is mainly PC games (strategy, MMO, rogue-like, etc) that appeal to me.
