What would make MORTAL KOMBAT 9 the greatest MK ever for you?

Still I just don't see MK 9 selling well. The guys who I know bought MKvsDC did so for DC, they wanted to kill batman lol. I mean MK needs to go back to more in depth I mean after Armageddon I just can't look at the series again.
